& Buenos Aires, Chile & Argentina
Exploring nature's best
Arrive to Santiago, Chile and check into Le Reve, in the chic Providencia district, for a two-night stay. Appreciate the French design and stunning garden, perhaps relaxing for your first afternoon and evening. In the morning head out with your guide and explore the best of Santiago, perhaps the Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda located in front of the Presidential Palace, some of the fine arts and pre-Colombian museums, or even on foot exploring the streets, markets and colours of the city.
Next head to the Torres del Paine and awe-inspiring Patagonia for a four-night stay at Tierra. The lodge offers magnificent views of Patagonia’s iconic mountain peaks of Torres del Paine. With your private guide and while in the area you can undertake all sorts of half and full-day excursions, with minimal or maximum effort, such as hiking to the base of the three towers, kayaking on Lake Grey, horse riding at Entre Lagos, or perhaps taking up some fishing in the nearby surrounds.
Head North for a few hours drive to El Calafate, across the Argentine border and check into Xelena hotel for two nights. Right on the banks of Lake Argentina, one can enjoy the views of the Andes in the distance and simply relax, or use the time and location to explore the majesty of the Moreno glacier.
Continue north bound with a two-hour flight to Bariloche where you check in for three nights at Estancia Puema Hue, in the Lake District of Patagonia, and on the isolated shores of Lake Gutierrez. Enjoy your wooden rustic lodge with fireplace and activities such as kayaking right from your doorstep, or horse riding which is special here. Steeped in unspoilt nature you might like to walk about and hike through some of the property’s 500 acres of virgin forest, up o impressive waterfalls and to take in the surrounding stunning views.

We wanted the opportunity to see as many wildlife parks as possible and the Classic Safari Company provided an action-packed itinerary that included six, with 11 tiger sightings and nine leopard. This was overlaid with an introduction to Jaisalmer, Jaipur and the 'real' India. Pench and Panna were the hidden gems of a really great trip, very well organised, seamless and enjoyable. As a solo traveller I felt incredibly safe at all times. I want to go back!
Mark Taylor
Exellent and wonderful, reaching way above expectations.
