This impressive journey takes in the most remote reaches of North West Australia from the stunning Kimberley coastline, to the region’s dramatic inland landscape and shows off traditional outback hospitality of a historic outback station.
Beginning at an exclusive retreat fringed by a pure white beach, you’ll be one of only a handful of people for hundreds of kilometers. Explore on foot, by boat or helicopter and experience the local birds, wildlife and bush tucker as you while away the hours in luxurious castaway style. Moving inland you’ll be struck by the drama of the landscape as chasms and gorges plummet across the orange land, and all this can be surveyed from your exclusive glassy retreat, cantilevered over Chamberlain River. Finally you’ll turn your hand to station life, assisting with cattle work if you wish, roving the land on horseback and hike the dramatic landscape.
An optional extension provides the opportunity to cruise the Kimberley coastline as part of a small expeditionary voyage.

11 UNFORGETTABLE DAYS
DAY 1 | BROOME | 1 NIGHT
Arrive in Broome to spend one night in a stylish boutique hotel.
DAY 2 | KIMBERLEY COASTAL CAMP | 3 NIGHTS
Take a 1.5 hours scenic flight in a light aircraft to Mitchell Plateau where you will swap into a helicopter for a further 20 minute flight to the most exclusive retreat in the Top End, nestled on the pristine shores of the Admiralty Gulf in the heart of the great Kimberley wilderness. Spend the next three days boating, picnicking on deserted islands, hiking to see intriguing Wandjina and Gwion Gwion rock art, fishing pristine azure waters for tuna, coral trout, barramundi and more, swimming in freshwater billabongs or simply taking the time to kick back and relax in this idyllic, far flung retreat.
DAY 5 | EL QUESTRO – CHAMBERLAIN GORGE | 3 NIGHTS
Transfer to the world renowned El Questro – a small and intimate hideaway in Western Australia’s untamed Kimberley region. The Homestead at El Questro is an exclusive retreat cantilevered over the Chamberlain Gorge with stunning views across the rugged landscape. Here the focus is more on the land with horse riding, hiking, helifishing and guided wildlife safaris all on the cards.
DAY 8 | BULLO RIVER STATION | 3 NIGHTS
Finally, embrace the spirit of outback hospitality with a 3 night stay at Bullo River Station. Here you can get stuck in with station activities including muster training, calf feeding and cattle yard work in between more leisurely activities such as boating the Bullo and Victoria Rivers, fishing, surveying the dramatic landscape by air and reading at the convivial homestead, beer in hand.
DAY 11 | HOMEWARD BOUND
If this is where your journey closes then head to Kununurra to begin your journey home.
