The W Trek

Torres del Paine, Chile

A hiker's paradise

Arrive to Santiago, Chile and check in at the Singular Santiago for one night. The hotel is located in the Lastarria neighbourhood, fantastic to explore and for dinner outside if you have the energy.

In the morning take a domestic flight to Punta Arenas. Arriving mid-afternoon, you are collected and transferred to the lodge at Eco Camp Patagonia, and have the opportunity to rest and prepare for your adventure on the 7 day W Trek. Stay at EcoCamp Patagonia (in between two nights in refugios along the trail), the first of its kind featuring eco-friendly and sustainable geometric domes within the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park. The domes have all modern facilities and while the property is not a luxury lodge with all the trimmings, it is a great choice providing comfort and tranquility along the journey, separating yourselves from other campers or backpackers in the area.

The visually stunning W Trek highlights the best of Torres del Paine including the Grey Glacier, French Valley and the Tower base – a once in a lifetime experience. Your time hiking the W Trek has you hiking up to 26km in one day (the 2nd day) where you are walking up and along mountains amongst the most stunning backdrops viewing glaciers, lakes and of course the three granite peaks of the Paine. Trek the Paso Los Cuernos trail, the Valle del Frances trail, Pehoe – Grey trail, to the towers and Eastern Lakes – approximately 30 hours give or take of actual hiking time.

At the end of your time in the Torres del Paine National Park, you are transferred to Puerto Natales for three nights at The Singular Patagonia. Either rest and recuperate at the stunning lodge within walking distance to the small town of Puerto Natales, delight on great food and wine, or enjoy the included offerings from the excursion menu such as heading out to the Patagonian fjords, horseback riding, an estancia lunch, cycling, more trekking or kayaking.

Return back to Santiago and check in once more at the Singular Santiago for a final night, then your journey comes to an end.
